I forgot what part of the country you're
in, but 2.72 M20 are VERY common in '80 up FSJs (probably 1/2 the 6
cyls with auto got it till '88) and people are pretty much throwing
those diffs away. (Don't know what's in my '83 J10 yet, but with a
factory 5 speed it's probably 3.31, 3.54 or 3.73. I'm swapping the full
float 8 lug D60 I had in my '73 J4000 into it as I haul HEAVY loads! )

When you guys are looking  for a twingrip carrier for retired Bob,
keep your eyes open for a 2.72 ring and pinion set for me. I already have
the
twin grip carrier, just need the R & P and I'm in business.
