I might know someone who works in a Theatre. :]
I actually used a milk jug when I did the American.
It's translucent opaque/milky colored.
Then I installed Green 194 lamps behind it.
looked perfect since there is no light passing thru then when they are off.
Install red lamps for alt and brake.
Much heavier than gel.
