no, the poncho was never used in anything but pontiacs.  the confusion
may be because it first appeared - in '66 - as a 230, the same as the
kaiser but in fact because it shared ancestry with the chevy 230.
both became 250s, with again identical bore and stroke, and other
dimensions.

the kaiser motor is a small bore long stroke engine, in dimension very
much like the continental f226 it replaced.  i don't think the block
would take the poncho's bore, and conversely it would be tough to
squeeze its stroke into the poncho.

one popular mod for pontiac ohcs is to stroke it with a chevy 292
crank cut down to clear the crankcase.  and about a year ago someone
was trying to adapt twin-dual-cam z34 heads, after discovering the
bore spacing and head bolt pattern were the same.
