i recall reading years ago of someone who did this with an l-88,  this
was rated iirc 435@5300, and it actually was - but the -peak- was more
like 525@xxxxxxx

also iirc the nhra figures the hemi can make 425hp on 7 cylinders
[bracket/handicap racing].
