I believe you are referring to that area of land mass North of us
sometimes referred to as the Great White North? 
Also occasionally referenced to as an area separated from United States
by a common language. 
 
It is my understanding that the invasion occurred some time in the
1700's and was lost and they have been trying to give it back to us ever
since. 
I am not sure what the long term benefits of the invasion would be as
everything rusts up there and it is colder than Florida where everything
rusts too!
'Sides I don't think my Valerie would tolerate it very well as her
parents still live there, but it is something to consider.
