Re: [Amc-list] brake drums

I put, IIRC, Raybestos quietstop ceramic pads on the front of the XJ with new rotors [I know they are ceramic].
I have been most impressed with them at about 5-6K since install. They are stone quiet, not a peep, squeak or rattle. Very minimal dust too, someone said they will cause excessive rotor wear, too which I say, OK, I'll replace the rotors when they wear out.
To me, there is nothing worse that ill working, squeaking, noisy brakes. These work great, best I have found in years. Up till now I always paid out the nose for factory shoes and pads on all my vehicles. These are as good or better.
Oh, yeah, of course, I got them from Rockauto.
