[Amc-list] GRUB (GRand Unified Brake) list

A very temporary version that's ugly to look at is at

http://wps.com/AMC/AMC-brakes.html

I'll move it to AMCylopedia when I make it all crosslinked and all that.
Right now it appears to be a big flat table.

There are omissions (empty cells) and missing year/model data (lack of
TSMs) and probably bad data.

If you have TSM data from the missing years, I'll gladly accept a
photocopy or digital scan. I want all the brake brands, drum/disc sizes,
wheel cyl bores, valve type (none, combo, etc) (see the NOTES section
for the types). Most TSM years it's only 3 or 4 pages max, but the data
is scattered in various sections; at the fromt of the BRAKE AND WHEEL
section, in the SPECIFICATIONS, and valving is in the middle.

Data in BLACK is from the TSM, and unless I made a typo, is trustworthy
and accurate. Data in RED is not fully trustworthy; it came from my
searches on auto parts websites or my sole Raybestos catalog. This data
is REALLY HARD to compile, websites don't list year/model as AMC did,
they collapse parts lines into one, drop model exceptions (wagner vs
bendix; 304-v8-only, 195.6 vs 199, etc) and plain old make errors.

I intend to make verified aftermarket data BLUE. Not sure how I'll get
that information except the hard way (buy one, see if it fits; I have a
dozen or so from my own car notes; Matt has some on his). I would really
like to even have a column or note indicating where the verification
came from -- so that we can back-propagate repaired data errors and get
that crap off the internet, eg. if my or Matt's or whatever has an
error, we can inform them and all that. Some part lookups are
"trustworthy", eg. Raybestos wheel cylinder part numbers can be
cross-checked since there's few variables.

There's a lot of cars (mainly 60's) that had either Wagner or Bendix
brakes -- of the same dimensions! Is it really true that some of these
have the same brake drum part number? There's not a whole lot of
different between bendix and wagner drum brakes!
