[Amc-list] AMCS on TV - History Channel, " 70's Technology", shown 5/30 Wednesday., ..

  I was watching the History Channel on Wednesday
evening, and they had a show covering 1970's
Technology, from Speak and Spell to calculators,
microwave ovens, etc. When they got to cars, they
covered the '74 Trans Am, ie "Smokey and the Bandit"
car. AFter that, they hit on the oil crisis, and what
came up were some original AMC road driving ads for
Hornet Hatchback, Pacer Coupe, and AMC Gremlin X, only
about 5 seconds worth, though. The Ford Pinto got
more, but only showing a test-track rear impact gas
tank explosion...at least this time, AMC got a better
showing without getting it's corporate face shoved in
the dirt again! LOL. Still, it was a good show, very
interesting. If you check out the History Channel,
look for the '70s Technology show.
