Re: [Amc-list] Another Ambo To Be Scrapped for the Engine

Is that the aircleaner housing everyone is always drooling over trying to buy???
Shame to see the engine not included in the auction.
Hopefully it will get a like engine reinstalled and be back as orignal.
The only thing that will likley get lost to the car in the shuffle is that air cleaner housing.
IIRC, it is a one year only piece and unobtanium due to AMX guys and Javelin restorers fighting over them. Again IIRC, it is only to be found on 71 401's, maybe 360 4 barrels. We all know that 90%+ were hotrodded and the first thing anyone did back in the day was install an open element aircleaner.
Hey I'm on a hot streak here! I've manged to ramble on about most anything tonight!!!
Vacation/comp time is good!!!
