Re: [Amc-list] wheels needed

dissregard my previous message. Tom's Ca. wheels will be nicer!
For cheap look good wheels I love my steel early chevy style repops!
Plain police caps, no logo, dual bolt pattern, easy to sell if I change my mind.
$270 for the set, 2 15X7, 2 15X8, They also run true, no vibration at all.
Get this, I mounted two almost new General 255/60/15's on the rear, two 2/3 worn out Kelly Charger 205/60/15's on the front. Put them on the car, headed off for the shop to get them balanced, No vibration in town, so I says, hmmmm, I take it out on the interstate, crank it up to 85 in a slow gradual pull, no vibration anywhere! Hmmmm, I decide to leave it be for a while. I thought I would at some point find a harmonic "spot" that would need balanced out. So far this has never occured. What isreally strange is that the Kelly Chargers came off the Altima because at no time during their use on that car could I get them to not vibrate!!!
Oh, well go figure :] I know the wear may be reduced on the Chargers, but they were supposed to be a "test" tire for size and clearance testing anyway.
