trivia: those engines are related.  the aluminum v8 was redesigned
into the iron 300, which was then cut into the 225 v6 and
stroked/talldecked into the 340, then slightly overbored into the 350.
when buick bought the v6 back they used the 350 slugs and made the 225
a 231.

jeep used both the 225 and the 350.

another amc/jeep link: while the 300 and descendants have the
now-standard b-o-p bellhousing pattern, iirc the 215 had the nailhead
425 pattern.
