[Amc-list] new carb

Just picked up an edelbrock performer intake (non egr) and edelbrock 1406 barrell carb for my 71 AMC Ambassador.  Any suggestions or considerations for replacing the original 2 barrel carb on the 360 V8 that is in the car now?  I see on the net that it's for electric choke.  Any thing I need to do for that?  Thanks for any info, John.
