afaik this is not true.  my napa book says only the '74-8 big bendix
disks used different bearings; all other disk and drum setups used the
same #2 and #6 sets.

" 82-88 use 2.6" GM calipers that slide on pins similar to the 71-74 K-H calipers. 

also used on small jeeps - cj, xj, yj, mj - '82? to '89 or '90.  '90s
jeep calipers are different but i don't know how; they sound very
similar.
