I am partial to survivor cars because I own one. My orange 74 Hornet
Hatchback. I got it by chance and saved it from being cut up and made
into a race car that would probably be powered by a brand "X" engine.
Although it is not 100% stock now it would take a real expert to spot
the subtle mods the car has both mechanically and appearance wise.
Although not a show car as it it my fair weather driver it has picked up
2 trophy's in the last almost 3 years that I have had it at the local
small AMC show. The trophy's were a pleasant surprise as my greatest
pleasure is driving the car daily. It never fails to draw attention
where ever I go.
"Doc"
