Matt, Ditto what Jim said. Many people eliminate the EGR valve. Take a look at the Edelbrock 1406. 600 cfm and electric choke. I would also recommend putting a spacer between the intake and the carb. My son had trouble on his Matador with the carb getting too hot after you shut it off. Edelbrock actually makes some nice wooden spacers.
