[AMC-List] Surging 401 problem solved

Thanks for all of the suggestions but the fix ended up
being quite simple.  I removed the carb and put the
original Edelbrock 600 back on to confirm a carb
problem and the car ran fine.  I then removed the top
plate of the 750 to replace the jets.  After removing
the top I turned it over and the floats did not move. 
Seems the brass fitting that the inlet valves fit into
had backed-out and would not allow the floats to move.
 Tightened up the fittings, put the carb back on and
it runs like a scalded ape now!
