[AMC-List] my 62 classic project

well, i just got a triangulated 4 link suspension kit. getting rid of the stock suspension all together. will do some resetting of the axle centered in the wheel well, but im thinking about leaving it in its "tucked in" position. i am going to go with some coil over shocks on it. for the rear between the frame rails, going to weld in a crossmember that will be strong enough for the coil over shocks to mount to. i have seen instances where they are mounted one in front of the axle and one on the back side like the chevy trucks have for a long time, i have seen them mounted in a strait up and down configuration, and i have also seen them mounted wide on the axle, and lean inward as they go to the frame rails. also, i have seen them mounted narrow on the axle and go wider to he frame rails. is there any reason for these different configurations or is it just because of space availibility? i am looking at aldan eagle coilovers. as for my brake application, i have decided on
some wilwood mustang II front brake kit with 4 piston calipers. for the rear, going to go with a ford 8.8 rear kit with internal park brake shoe/drum and 4 piston calipers, a willwood duel resivour mastercylinder and stainless steel brake lines. wow, i can not wait to get home to put all this on. thank you to all of you who have posted advice on this project.
