Re: [AMC-List] Torque link removal

Hey buddy, good to see you on here again! The bracket definitely comes off,
but I suspect one of two things. Either it's been tack welded on somewhere
that's hard to see, or it's just that corroded on there. Advice: Hit it
harder with a bigger hammer.

Subject: [AMC-List] Torque link removal

I want to replace the torque link bushings, preferably with urethane. I
removed the three 3/8 bolts that hold the front bracket to the frame but it
doesn't come off. I beat on it with my favorite tool, a 2 lb hammer with a
10 inch handle, but it doesn't budge.
questions. Does it come off? How do you take it apart to change the
bushings?
any advice appreciated
Ralph
