Yes Glen, I'm the "lucky" soul! Tom Jennings has helped by providing server space and helping to switch the list over to better software and a more reliable server. The old one was junk, had no security, and did no house keeping. The interface for admin was terrible too! 

I know it doesn't look like it, but the list will be better once the dust settles. I expected a lot of outcries, though not as many as we got due to the poor house keeping of the old server -- it retained addresses that should have been deleted long ago, and there was no way for us to know until we subscribed the entire old list. 

You can tell by the mad cries who actually reads the list and who doesn't.

Thanks Shiloh! I like this response much better than the others who were
surprised to find themselves back on the list, though I don't blame them for
being a little irate. Changing everyone to digest mode seems to have helped,
as only 2-5 e-mails a day is more tolerable than 30+! After all the old
addresses are purged it will go down to 10-30 e-mails a day, or 1-3 digests.
The system is set to send at least one digest daily, but will send as soon
as a size trigger (8-10 messages) is tripped.

 Well I signed on when Jim was started it. So I have no idea how long I've
read the list .. Back then I suspect there was very little in terms of
mailing list options to choose from.  Is Jim still going to host the
archive? I suppose the answer to that must be posted back some where in the

I have a slight drip where the plastic cover that
holds the speedometer cable seals to the transmission.
 Anyone have the stock numbers for them (the little
one that goes on the cable and the big one that goes
between the cover and the tranny housing)?  Are there
generic ones available?  Thanks.

I love those things -- I've always wanted one. I'm not crazy about the
treatment in this one (they removed all the 60's euro crap I love most)
nor the furd motor but it's awful nice!
