[AMC-List] Yeah!

Nice to see we moved!
I can finally post again after being deleted from the old list by some lowlife sleezeball. I have been progressing slowly on the Ambassador. I have a ways to go. I cut out the rest of the bad spots in the passenger floor, welded in two patches Sunday. I opened up the floor over the front subframe and straightened the bottom of the subframe out where it had been turfed. The insides of the subframe and convertible bracing are all rust free on this car! Wish the floors where the same! The floors are definitely rusted from the inside out.
I was looking for a suitable patch panel to maintain some of the beading between the front subframe and the rocker. I was all set to order some Mustang floor panels to cut up for this when it dawned on me I could duplicate the ribbing close enough with a cheap bead roller for about the same price and have the tool left over. So I ordered the 12" bead roller from Harborfreight yesterday and will attempt to do my own. It should be interesting if I can pull it off! I only need three parellel straight beads about 8-9"s long. I think the car has 3/4" beads now and the tool only comes with 1/2" as the largest dies, but it will be close enough for this car.
Enough for now, Good to see we are on a new server!
