196 OHVs used a Delco generator, 196 L-heads used an Autolite. They should be interchangeable though. In fact all electronics were Delco for the OHV, Autolite for the L-head -- at least through the 60s. Pertronix doesn't have a listing for the Ramblers, so order for corresponding six cylinder Chevy (194/235/250) or Ford (144/200/250) of about the same year. Distributor housings and shafts are 195.6 unique, but internals are same as the corresponding Chevy/Ford models.
