I think the average American rear is getting bigger, but on Jessica Simpson it looks good! On to the car, though. High Performance Mopar did a rebuild on the Chryco 8 3/4 rear and they seemed to think it is a good tight budget rear. With some modifications it holds up to some big cubes abusing it. And they are plentiful and the same bolt pattern as we use. Of course you cant beat the 9" Ford, they did come in many small cars and the center section will accept all sorts of ratios. many aftermarket parts are out there too. I seem to remember the 4x4 guys liking the Toyota 2x4 rears as a good street rear end. they claim it is beefy out of the drawer, low cost and prevalent. Plus the bolt pattern is the same as AMC and the springs line up to boot. If you want to spend some dough you can narrow an Ambo/Matty/Rebel rear and weld on some spring perch's. Add some one piece axles and a locker and yer good to go.........Russ __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
