what year?

this is to anyone on the list that can shed some light on this subject, I 
have posted a Grill on Ebay as 1980's and was wondering if someone could 
tell me specifically what year this could be, now i picked it up some time 
ago thinking it would be what i needed for my 1974 AMX but found out it was 
to short, so naturlly figured it was for the spirit model which was a 
smaller car. You can view this on ebay also, its  item #8049900032 - 
AMC,AMX,spirit,Grille 1980's , i would like to make sure im listing this 
properly thanks for any help.
