< Eddie asked > Jerry since you have one in hand, I have heard JL finally got rid of the goofy mailbox scoop all the other JL AMXs had in the past, which was from the old Series #1 SS/AMX Shahan car. True? Yes, no more mailbox, just the p-51 or Spitfire raised hood gills on the hood now. < Eddie asked > I thought JL also released a white one along the orange one also...but this ebay auctions says it is White Lightning anyone know for sure? I'm beginning to wonder about that, too. I sure wish JL had kept the standard white wheels or at least printed White Lightning on the cars, nowadays it's been hard to judge. What I've SEEN and HEARD is that the bottoms of the cars are also painted white, and that's supposed to be the giveaway. If that's the case, my two white-interior Gremlins are NOT WL's. They have grey bottoms. It could be that some unscrupulous sellers are claiming that they are WL's when they're actually not. I was looking for a website to clarify the distinction yesterday, but have found none to positively say one way or the other yet. I've seen a few cars with all-white interiors except for the dash and steering wheels, and some with all white, too. So it's confusing to me what the criteria is for a true WL. But all 3 Gremlin White Lightning's I've seen on ebay have white interiors ( but no pictures of the BOTTOMS of the cars ), so some more research is in order. Anyone else care to share an opinion? Or some facts? - Jerry - __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! Mail has the best spam protection around http://mail.yahoo.com
