I've been looking at the compressors from Ingersoll-Rand. They make some nice units in the $1,000 range. I'm not sure who sells them in your area, but here's a couple of vendors that carry them so you can see what models are available. The one I've been looking at is 17 cfm with an 80 gallon tank for $999.
