Unlike the 196 OHV. The last two years of the 196 OHV they made a lot of changes for some stupid reason. There are three different cam bearing sizes and two different cams for the 196. Everything was the same for the 196 (except the AL engine) through mid 1963, then the cam changed, then there were two cam bearing changes. Why mess so much with an end of life casting?
