Just remind her that having the cars to tinker with at home keeps you from roaming to much... on second thought, she might not take kindly to that! Not high jakcing the thread. I have some pics and details of a nice 63 wheel stander! It has a Chevy engine, but just think what a hot 360 would do if as hot 350 easily sends the front wheels in the air! The guy used Chevy II over the rail headers and cut holes between the firewall and suspension for the header to go through. Jeep CJ over rail headers would work about the same. He kept the front suspension and all the unit body frame work, but back halved and tubbed the rear. An eight point roll cage keeps the thing from twisting. He mentioned to me that is was much stiffer than any Chevy II he'd ever built! I have just enough pics to detail everything for you... -- Frank Swygert Publisher, "American Independent Magazine" (AIM) For all AMC enthusiasts http://farna.home.att.net/AIM.html (free download available!) original message ---------------------------------- ate: Wed, 08 Feb 2006 16:59:17 -0500 From: imfatdad@xxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: Free Ramblers Not wanting to hijack this post, but dang Frank, your making it awfully hard for me to make a decision on my 63 440. Wife does not understand my.... hobby.... I seem to have a small collection of AMC's started now. One of which a 2dr 63 440H, gave sixty bucks for it at an auction.. Do I part it out or fix er up to run, too many cars on the insurance and tax bill already.. Plus I travel so much that I have little time to tinker witih the drivers... AAARRRGGGHHH!!!!!
