The cable end on a Jeep AW-4 or any TF auto trans should fit. Chrysler product cables should fit also. If the trans end is different, you hould be able to pull the end out of the trans from a Jeep and mount it to the Pacer tranny. There should be a metal "fork" holding a piece in the trans thats' about 1.5" in diameter. Take the bolt out holding the fork on and the entire piece will pull out, speedo gear attached.
