Heater core

The change in outlet sizes was incidental. The cores
fit fine and I just used a step down union to connect
the two. Considering that I just wandered into the
junkyard (it started leaking on me driving down 82nd
street in Portland) and came up to the first AMC I
found, this has been a temporary fix that has survived
about 5 years. That is why I said to take out the core
and compare the two. If you want to keep the car alive
and don't mind the union, go for it. Or if the tubes
are different you can go from there.....Russ
