"I've met maybe a dozen AMC people in the area in a decade: maybe only two or three of them still read this list." I still read the list John. More of a lurker than a contributor..... "I have been watching and waiting: for the AMC hobby to mature and/or coalesce, for that Nash-Rambler-AMC museum and archive to become more than a dream fantasy, and for some kind of real WNY AMC Club to appear (or reappear; one was either idea or attempt at some point in pre-'90s AMC history) as a reality." I resurrected the old local AMC club (Rochester area) back in the late 80's. It ran strong for about 6 years. We had club meetings and picnics. Unfortunately, I went through a divorce in the mid 90's that side tracked my social activities and the club just sort of disbanded. I have been chatting with another former member about trying to resurrect and breath some life back into the old club. There are quite a few local guys that still have a passion for all things AMC so I am sure it wouldn't be that difficult to get the club back together. I hope to do some serious inquiries this spring to see if any of these local guys want to make a go of it again.
