Re: low-buck shiny 60's cruiser rodxn

The ones I have came from a late 80's Nissan two wheel drive pickup. They are a perfect fit! Once and a while we would get trucks into the dealer that would come with full wheel covers or sport aluminum wheels and trim rings! I gave several sets to our parts dept, not having a need for them, but they hadn't been able to sell them. So, when I took this set in they told me to throw'em out or take'm home. I took them home and they sat in the box till about 2000 when I used two on the front stock wheels the first time around with the American. Now I'm running 15" GM early repop rallys with police caps so they don't fit. But they will work well on the Ambassador. I was going to go to 15's, but this is too easy a way to go to pass up! Plus if I stay with 14" I can use the factory wire caps if I want.

So are these AMC trim rings or generic? I think I'll keep an eye
out for a set!
