Here's my suggestion, if you don't want to spend the money pursuing the guy thru a lawyer. Shadow ALL his auctions online, and send direct emails to ALL the bidders on ALL his items, specifying what he did you you, and that you're just warning them of his possible tactics. That way, he may start losing money on his items, or at least interest. Just set him up as one of your Favorite "targets", er, Sellers, and watch his auctions, and send out notices to all the bidders. Can't do much about the Watchers, but the actual bidders you could warn. Nothing he can do about your contacting them directly. This approach would be very time-intensive, if he does alot of auctions, but might be satisfying if it gets results. No way to know THAT, but at least if he gets a reputation, he may take some eco-hits. Ebay provides the means to contact the other bidders, so why not use it to warn them? They may pay no attention, or they may, no way to tell. But at least they know someone doesn't like him, and someone is taking the time and effort to cause him some grief. Sorry there's no easier way, but it's about all you have to use againest him.
