Traffic was BAD even early yesterday afternoon after a work delivery in the DC metro area, so I made my way close by to Springfield Mall in Virginia to do some shopping. Hit Target first, found an AMC Hornet JL, got that, headed down the mall to the Kay-Bee store, not much in 1/64th, but I then started looking at the 1/43rd and 1/18th cars, and noticed some oldies, got to looking at one, then spied the "Nash" name...whoa! It's a Signature model, hardtop, of the '53 Nash Healey. I have seen them on Ebay for over $10-12, in cream, black, and red. This store had 4 of them for $7 each, 2 black and 2 cream. Well, the store DID have them. :D Wish they'd had the red ones, but guess that means I will start looking closer thru the local K-B's to see if more show up. Sometimes procrastinating DOES pay off by skipping Ebay. LOL. Didn't get anything for anyone else in the mall...lol. Oh well, I moved on to other stores. I'm further ahead than last year in buying Xmas presents, I was last minute extreme shopping and very stressed, this year is pretty good, I'm over 1/2 way done, no problems so far, lookin' good. :) Wish you all a happy AMC season ( all most Christmas ), and a wonderful new year.
