RE: 4L60E anyone?

One of my buddies got a performance reprogrammer (I'll ask the brand)
from summit racing ($400.00 range), used it on his Chevy pickup. He was
able to chose shift firmness, shift rev limit, lockup timing etc. Pretty
cool tool. He's tuned it for his usage and is much happier with how it
works, had put off the purchase for a while due to price and is bummed
he waited so long. It also changed the parameters for his engine and
after riding in it before and now you can feel a definite difference. He
didn't go all out with it so that he wouldn't have to use premium fuel
all the time but that was an option. I'll ask what it was he bought and
get back to you Mark.

Subject: 4L60E anyone?

Anyone know good sites to read up on improving the shifts on a 4L60E
without frying it or spending a fortune?
I've done some reading and searching, I am thinking the first method
of improvement seems to be changing the 1-2 servo to the corvette or
aftermarket servo. We can go back channel if this subject is considered
to far off topic. Thanks,
