Don't know much about soaking them in ATF but if you continue to have trouble I seem to recall that Leon's over in Culpeper VA had a couple of 65 Ambo wagons with the power windows. I was thinking about going back down there for them so I could have spares for my 66 wagon. Might be worth a trip to you if all else fails.
