In the post I stated that vacuum wipers were stock for all EXCEPT Javelin. The only reference to Javelin wipers was that a three position switch was used, which led to the assumption that they only had electrics because of the paddle switches used in the "cockpit" dash. All other series had mention of a switch and a vacuum control. Just something missed by the editors apparently.

Not pre-71, but came out with the Sportabout wagon -- maybe even a year later. I just read this myself in the latest AMO newsletter, which has a reprint of a sales flyer.

Isn't the 31 Ford slide back roof an English or French version, maybe one of the coach built bodies?? Now if you'd said how the 50 Ford and 50 Rambler were almost the same car, I'd have had an answer for you! So I'll "pull a Mahoney" and see if any readers know what I mean by that puzzling statement!
