Upset people getting unwanted mail

Guys, replying back to the list doesn't do anything. As soon as I notice something like this (it takes a day or two occasionally), or one of the other guys with admin rights, we'll kill the subscription. The thing is anyone can sign anyone up for the list, and there is occasionally a prankster who signs his "buddy" up. I set the list to default to digest, but someone apparently got this guy good and set him for individual mail also. The only way around this is to turn moderation on, and no one gets in until I check and allow the subscription. I don't really want to do that. If someone repeatedly signs someone up that doesn't want to be here, I just ban that e-mail address.

The person should, however, get an e-mail stating how to unsubscribe when they sign up in the first place. The only problem is when I see something I don't have a clue about, I delete the message, I DO NOT open it. And a lot of "phishing" is done by sending such messages, then they nab your e-mail address when you reply. We just can't win in this situation! So let the admins take care of these people and ignore the messages. It may take a couple days, we have lives too, but we'll get them!
