Ok lets see how well and how far PHART JE can read, this is fun.
First obtain the unsubscribe pack from your local internet protocol retailer, street versions are cheaper, but can corrupt your computer. Once you have it home extinguish all pilot lights and external flame sources. Next unwrap the outer Mylar cover being sure not to lose the enclosed documentation. Said documentation can be dangerous in the wrong hands and is tracked by serial number to the unsubscribe kit purchaser (don't become a statistic). After preparing Cables A, B, and D (C, F, and G if using Unix) connect them, but not before powering down your system. After connecting the cables you may boot the computer. If a warning comes up then you will need to download unsubscribe drivers from www.Microsoft.com or www.sun.com if using Unix. If no warnings are present you can remove the protective strips (the yellow ones) and then open the aluminum cover. Grasp the large red handle (not the small one) and pull it toward you slowly increasing in pressure until you hear 2 clicks. If you hear 3 clicks it means you have not connected the correct cables, or that the correct unsubscribe drivers are not present. If you heard only 2 clicks you can skip to page 23 in the documentation being sure not to touch either the frequency or amplitude dials until you have read the entire procedure. Once you have read the procedure you may set the amplitude dial to the appropriate setting for your operating system. (setting detailed in the manual) Once you have the correct amplitude, power up the drive scrubbing assembly. Once a steady hum is heard you may then set the frequency dial. To obtain the correct frequency divide the speed of your processor with the amount (in kilobytes) of your ram comparing that to the chart on page 168. Also, you should now look up the setting of your virtual memory and select that on the virtual memory dial indicator. You should see 4 green lights across the top of the panel on the right of the kit. If all 4 lights are green you may proceed to step 74 in the manual. At this point you are half done.....
