{FORGED?} Lost Posts >>> AMC74Hornet@xxxxxxxxx ... Note this is from Web TV server. There is some [probelem with Web TV emails with our AMC ListProc I think. Jim Blair used to be Web TV and he talked about it and he finally got a computer fpor this and no later problems with the incompatability. I note it still kicks out the "(FORGED") onto the subject lines, too. You don't suppose that the listproc is kind of "somewhat" rejecting his postings? By somewhat, I mean the listproc just isn't 100% infallible and seems inconcistent in the way it handles messages. Maybe too many variables or options, I don't know... what with "Rich Text" or "HTML" and "Plain text" variables, etc. Are others haveing this type of problem other than AMC74Hornet@xxxxxxxxx ? If so maybe make note of your email address and be sure to use the same email address that your signed up with for the AMC List. Some people have too many email addresses and get tangled in their own confusion. (OK, well it's happend to me...) ______________________________________________________________ Ralph Ausmann - Hillsboro, OR - > <ralph.ausmann@xxxxxxxxx> http://mysite.verizon.net/res79g4m/ ... and "check the links" ----- Original Message ----- From: <farna@xxxxxxx> To: <mail@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, November 17, 2005 9:16 AM Subject: Re: Lost Posts (again!) > One more thing -- check the secondary site also (www.amcgremlin.com). I'm not sure how often it updates, but it's possible some posts are going through to it that get lost between the list server and Jim's site. It's an ISP issue and being worked, I know checking two sites isn't a good solution, but might be something that needs to be done for the next month or two. That or change your settings to get the digests then review the digests before deleting. Digests only go out 3-5 times a day, sometimes as little as twice when traffic is low (it has been on the AMC Forums as well -- good weather lately -- the coming cold should change this...). >
