The folks below are looking for a wire for their 71 Hornet. Anyone know of
something like this new for sale, or if they even have a old AMC laying around
with this item please feel free to reply, be sure to copy your reply to them

Subject: (no subject) It is the pink wire wrapped in the wiring harness. It is spliced to a
yellow wire soon after it comes through the firewall.It goes to one side of the
starter relay. It drops the voltage to 6 volts when the car is running. It is
1.35 ohms. I haven't been able to find any one that has one. If you have an old
V8 car with point style ignition you could cut it out of the harness, that is if
you don't mind messing up a good harness. Let me know if you need any more
