Brake Fluid in Eyes

Justin, you may have went to the emergency room "just to shut her up", you you only have one set of eyes. I've had pieces of metal drilled out of both of mine years ago. Well, they didn't drill the metal out, but they have to use a drill to clean the rust ring out or the white of your eye will turn a nice rust color as it spreads! I've actually seen a guy with an eye like that, scary! Can't help vision either. The first time I didn't have glasses on while drilling, and just thought I had a bit of dirt in my eye. The second time I had safety glasses on but was drilling from under the car -- small chip hit my eybrow and bounced BEHIND the glasses! Can't win sometimes...

ANY time you get a bit of petroluem based product in your eyes it's a good idea to go to the emergency room. Even a little splash can cause permanent damage. I have to admit I haven't when it's just a small drop, but don't take any chances! If it's burning, you need to go!
