A: If we can ever get that address I set up on yahoogroups signed up, the HTML will be a thing of the past (of course then it would be a problem of yahoo ads) From: farna@xxxxxxx Subject: Re: Pictures/Attachments STILL NOT ALLOWED on the list! To: mail@xxxxxxxxxxxx Message-ID: <ADVANCES62aJswFCHOz0000002e@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Okay, this is the deal! Pics/attachments still aren't allowed on the list. I changed the setting to allow atachments because newcomers were having trouble getting on the list. This is due to various mail programs, especially AOL, insisting on sending some type of header and/or footer with the mail message. That's why some messages appear on the on-line site with "attachments". If you open one of those attachements you'll find a copy of the message with all the HTML coding and sometimes header/footer info. Although all site mail goes through a virus checker, I don't advise opening attachments. You SHOULD NOT intentionally attach files or pics to your messages and sen to the list. I'm not "jumping on" anyone -- new comers are excused! I just don't want anyone to think this opens the list up to sending pics.
