Re: AC compressor fittings

It's time to go to another shop. I haven't had much louck with the local Firestone on things like this either. They charged me $35 a pound for R-134a. I can still buy a 12 ounce can at AutoZone for under $10. So they charged me triple price. They won't get any service from me any more. I asked them to set my Classic at 4 degrees caster thinking it would take more with the adjustable strut rods. Well, they couldn't get that, so set both wheels atthe max caster. 2 degrees for the left, 3 degrees for the right. Now who in their right mind would set caster differently for both sides? Yep, it pulls to the right. The guy TOLD ME it might pull to the right. I'd have never let a car leave like that, just told the customer it would only take 2 degrees and drive right! I should have taken it back or told them to fix it before taking it, but I don't want them touching my car again, not if they're that stupid! THEY are supposed to be the "experts"!! I took my daughter's car over there f!
or the AC recharge anyway, thinking something so straight forward would be okay. Now I wonder if they were just charging the extra for R-134a because my daughter took it in or that's their normal charge.
