Grammar = trust?

I know this is way off topic... but it is out there. I would like to follow
this logic:

If an eBay seller uses poor grammar, or misspells words then you loose
trust, throw red flags, etc. Why? How are these related? Has it been your
experience that this bears true? Or, are you not going to buy that part
because the photo background "just isn't my color"

Surely they are missing out on having the most number of potential buyers to
find the item(s) they are selling. However, I ask how this equates to their
personal character? Would not looking are the feedback they receive say
more?

I, for myself rely heavily on spell checkers. Dona spel gud. So I guess you
could say "I know your type.. " Really? I know plenty of people who married
the "hottie", but after a while...splitsville.

Discounting a seller for grammar and spelling... well, ok.
