Re: It's Raining Matadors

Jim,

I looked at both wagons. The wheel well covers (in the back interior) are perfect on the 1977 wagon. There is one crack in one of the covers on the 1972 wagon, but the side panels etc. appear to be good. Are you sure these will fit a Rebel wagon?

Folks,

I mentioned a 1977 Matador wagon that is being parted

Today a 1972 Matador wagon arrived. <snip>

Joe,

Could you look and see if either of these cars have good interior wheel well covers? On my car ('67 Rebel Wagon), they are plasic pieces that go between the rear side windows and the deck, and from the rear door to the tailgate. I'd have to look again, but probably not 1 piece. My car has only two bench seats, and there's probably no difference, but the rear seat folds down, but when up latches onto a metal piece that is screwed to or through these plastic wheel well coverings.

Both sides of mine are crap...

I can email a pic if need be.

Thanks,
