I am going through my garage getting ready for Winter, and drug out my brake collection (4, 6 and 8 collection). The Wagner and Bendix big drums/backing plates will interchange within the same specific car application, but some years and applications are different. So if you are talking about a 66 Rogue V8, fer instance, either brands will work. But the 66 will be diff than other years. Front and rear will not interchange though you can knock out the hub from the front thinking it will work. Small brakes (from early Ramblers) have different back spacing so there are somethiong like 6 or 8 diff applications. The big backing plates will fit on the small cars axle flange with some clever fixin'. I put V8 rear drums on an Americans axle with nothing more than drill, file and trial/error. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
