Brian; If your reason to cut a glass is to chop the
roof, another alternative is to lower the glass. If
you have room you can just lower the whole glass and
just be creative with finishing the body....Russ

Looking @ a Split Windshield > was hoping to use
a Sungate by PPG but the contours are all wrong.

I like Split Windshields > my former Hudson > Jeepster etc.
and I just bought a 'Suite1' old school exterior Sun Visor which
has  center mount for the split windshield.

Would love a Polarized windshield but PPG only deals with
Truckloads > not individuals.

Have to hit the .net & research some more.  

The Sungate is beautiful, made for 2 GM vans up until
2002 when GM developed a better AC compressor and
got away from the High Cost of the Sungate > shifting
back to 'Solor' windshields....... read > plain old glass.

This Sun Visor is thick Blue Green Plexi with super nice
chrome hardware > should look great and give some 
relief from blinding glare.
