SO I finally may have some movement on this Coupe that has been sitting for 10 years. On closer inspection, there is not ONE SPECK of rust on it, the interior is used but all there and it was parked because of a divorce and had no mechanical problems. No title, but I can probably work around that. The guy who has had it on his lot all this time is the b-i-law of the woman who owns it. Anyway, it turns out it's a 6 cyl/auto car... I can't IMAGINE a 258 pushing this much iron! So, how are these options: Convert to 360 (have plenty of these) Are the coupes the same as midsize... change the x-mmbr and convert? What V8 xmmbrs interchange with the Coupe? I have an 87 4.0 o/d AT that seems like it would make better power than the 258.... anyone ever run a 4.0 in a full size? Needs bigger rims and tires... what's the biggest 16/17 combo that will fit with no mods? Thanks.... I am going to try to get some pics soon. Other than being faded turd brown there is no exterior work required.
