Nope, that was the '57 Pontiac Bonneville, the top o' the line model. I don't think Pontiac offered it in any other model, but Chevrolet, which developed it and had to let Pontiac share it, offered it in anything from their Bel Air convertibles to station wagons! ( there is a model breakdown somewhere , somewhen , that gave a breakdown of all the Chevy cars that actually got it, and there was even a 4-door wagon that got it, of course the 150 series 2-door sedan ( for racing, special 6-lug axles, etc, called the Black Widows ), convertibles, and 4-door hardtops. 4-door hardtops out-numbered any other model that ever got it, I believe. Luxurious passenger model. But it was a rare option even then. the Dual-4-bbl made almost as much HP, and wasn't as finicky on set-up and tinkering. I know all this, since I once was hot into Tri-chevies, I still have my original '57 4 door 210 sedan. For extra non-AMC points, does anyone know what an El Morocco was? <grin> No cheating Googling! I still love my '57, it will hold a special place in my heart, even though AMCs have since carried me away. I'm a Gremlin guy now, really I like most models of AMC from the '70s and mid-'60's, with my wide variety of models I own, but I'll still hold onto my Classic Chevy. I know there are other dual car lovers out there, another recent sign-on said he had a '57 Chevy as well as AMC cars. So I'm not alone in my multi-variety love affair.
