Didn't you hear? We're putting a remote turbo and "cheater" nitrous system on Gwen's 195.6. That way everyone she blasts by will REALLY be surprised when they pop the hood! No turbo in sight or N2O nozzle (will put that in the air pipe coming from the turbo just before it pops up under the hood). We're just waiting on her to order those custom forged pistons and stainless exhaust valves... I know Brian Anderson, the guy who owns the turbo Chevy powered Classic. When he ws first building the car I suggested a 360. If there had been a running engine available in a local salvage yard he may have gone that way, but alas...!! IIRC he wanted something ready to go until he got the money to build what he wanted. I thought he put a Ford 351 in at first, but that was at least eight years ago. I helped him fix the gas tank and advised on putting an alternate engine in. Nice to see a Rambler running like that, would have been better with a 327. And yes, a 327 could have pushed the car up there with a turbo. It will take more boost with fewer mods too... and, I must admit, would need a few pounds more boost to get the same results.
